Work by children aged between two and four from Wrens Nursery School in Great Dunmow, is on display in the town’s Co-operative Store in White Street.
About 20 youngsters took part in a competition which will be judged by Liz Davies, owner of the Aubrey Art Gallery who will also present the prize.
Sean Harvey, Co-op manager, said: “It is a great pleasure to have these children involved and I hope they are enjoying taking part. Parents, relatives, their friends and, of course, the children are invited to view the pictures which will be displayed in our shop for the next few weeks.”
Also last week, the Co-op joined forces with the Red Cross in a two-year project to raise money to tackle social isolation in Britain. The Red Cross plans to provide providing care and support for lonely people.
