The wife of 80s heart-throb Nik Kershaw has helped raise £30,000 for charity.

Sarah Kershaw, 45, from Felsted, was one of eight trekkers who tackled the jungles of Borneo to raise cash for breast cancer clinical trials at Princess Alexandra Hospital, in Harlow, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping.

The team hiked through the dense jungle, spotting orangutans, and climbed to the summit of Mount Kinabalu.
