The Great Dunmow Town Team launched a brand new free website on Monday (September 7) aimed at developing tourism and increasing business into the town.
The website - www.visitgreatdunmow.co.uk - includes listings for all the town’s businesses, restaurants and hotels, as well as events, places to visit, and other information about the town.
The Town Team, which is made up of businesses owners and councillors, hope the website will encourage people to visit the town.
Speaking at the launch at the Maltings in Dunmow on Monday night, chair of the Town Team Alex Armstrong said: “It’s about promoting Dunmow as a destination and attracting visitors into the town.
“We want to increase footfall within Dunmow and work with local businesses to help them achieve this. They can register on the website for free, and we hope the site will serve the town and the community effectively in order to do this.”
