THE Dunmow Broadcast has employed a new full-time reporter to show its commitment to the community.
Nick Thompson, will be solely responsible for bringing the stories of Dunmow to the public's attention.
"I am very excited about the position and I feel that with the support of such a close community the Broadcast can remain a real focal point for the whole town," he said.
Assistant editor Tracy Hubbard said: "Nick is very enthusiastic and keen to get to know everyone in Dunmow. With us employing a full-time reporter on the patch it shows our commitment to the town and we intend to have even more Dunmow coverage - so watch this space."
Nick fills the vacancy left by Michael Boyton who has taken over from photographer Sarah Lucy Brown, who has moved to our sister papers, the East Anglian Daily Times and the Ipswich Evening Star.
Nick will be based in our Dunmow office in Angel Lane on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and at Saffron Walden on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
