A musician who has played with The Spice Girls, Take That and Justin Bieber, is organising a charity gig for Farleigh Hospice at Foakes Hall Great Dunmow on Saturday, December 10.
Students at Kate L’Anson’s Music School in Dunmow, including Kate herself and her professional musician friends, will be showcasing a range of pop, rock and classical music as well as some of their own compositions.
The students range in age from Frank aged eight, who sings, and Bill aged 68 who plays guitar.
Kate, who plays keyboards and piano, said: “This is our first charity gig. We wanted to raise money for the hospice, one of the students has a friend who works there and someone in our family was looked after there.
Show starts at 7pm. There will be a licensed bar and refreshments including mince pies and sausage rolls. Tickets are £5 adults and £3 children from Katie_keys@hotmail.com or on the door on the night.
