A motorcyclist had to be freed from under fallen branches after the biker crashed into a tree near Dunmow.
Firefighters from Leaden Roding and Dunmow were called to Ongar Road at 11.55am yesterday (Sunday) after the rider struck the tree and then was trapped under branches that fell on impact.
Paramedics treated a man in his late 50s for a suspected broken leg and back pain. He was take to Broomfield Hospital, in Chelmsford, for further treatment.
The motorcyclist, who was provided “oxygen therapy” by the fire crews, was freed by 12.53pm.
