Motorcyclist dies on Essex road

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal motorcycle crash on the B1057 at Cornish Hall End, between Finchingfield and Steeple Bumpstead, on Monday evening August 31. The motorcyclist was riding his red and white Yamaha motorbike when it left the road

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal motorcycle crash on the B1057 at Cornish Hall End, between Finchingfield and Steeple Bumpstead, on Monday evening August 31.

The motorcyclist was riding his red and white Yamaha motorbike when it left the road at about 6.15pm and collided with a tree. The 42 year old man, who was living in Chingford, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to contact road policing officers at Dunmow on 0300 333 4444.
