A round-up of crimes reported in the past month in Dunmow, Stansted, Thaxted and surrounding villages.

• Tools were stolen from a silver Ford Transit parked in Crix Green, Dunmow, between 10pm on July 3 and 11.5am on July 9.

• Power tools were stolen from a garage at a home in Chelmsford Road, Dunmow, between 11.58am on July 6 and 1.22pm the next day.

• Items were taken from numerous outbuildings at a property in Green Street, Great Canfield, between midday on July 4 and 7.15pm the next day.

• Burglars stole items from a garage in Clogham Road, Leaden Roding, between midnight and 1.30pm on July 11.

• A bulldozer was damaged in Cowlands Farm Lane, Stebbing, between 8am-3.42pm on July 12.

• A leaf blower was stolen from a vehicle in Lordswood View, Dunmow, between 3am-3.15pm on July 11.

• Damage was caused to a horse box in Lubberhedges Lane, Stebbing, during an attempted break-in between 1.30pm on July 11 and 1.05pm on July 13.

• Three men in a dark-coloured estate car tried to break into a silver Transit van in Barnards Field, Dunmow, around 0.50am on July 13.

• A bag was stolen from a car which had its window smashed in Woodside Green, Great Hallingbury, between 9-10.19am on July 14.

• Four bronze deer statues – which would need a vehicle to be taken away – were stolen from the rear garden of a home in Collops Road, Dunmow, between 9am on July 5 and 5pm on July 14.

• A Sterling Eccles caravan was stolen from Ongar Road, Dunmow, between 9pm on July 3 and 10.45am on July 5.
A white Fiat Ducato was also stolen from nearby Calpton Hall Lane between 9pm on July 3 and 11.45pm the next day.

• An iPhone 6 was stolen from the pocket of a jacket left on the back of a chair in a pub in Stortford Road, Dunmow, between 8.30pm on June 30 and 5.15pm the next day.

• Two cars, a silver Citroen Saxo with a blue boot lid and a black bonnet and a black Ford Focus stole fuel from a garage in Start Hill, Takeley, totalling £71.60, at 0.20am on June 17.

• Items were taken from a workshop in Brookend Road, Stebbing, between 6pm on June 16 and 2.15pm on June 19.

• Crops were damaged when a car was driven onto a field off Station Road, Littlebury, between midnight on June 7 and 3.05pm on June 16.

• The cable to a security light was cut at a property in Priors Wood Court, Takeley, between 9pm on June 5 and 3pm on June 19.

• A Scout hut was damaged in Mill Lane, Dunmow, at 12.20pm on June 20.

• A motorbike was stolen from a garage in Hamilton Road, Little Canfield, between 10.30pm on June 28 and 8.30am the next day.

• Power tools were taken from a white Mercedes Sprinter van which had its lock broken in Chaffix, Felsted, between 11.30pm on July 1 and 0.37am the next day.

• Tools were stolen from a silver Ford Transit van parked in The Heath, Hatfield Heath, between 5.30pm on June 21 and 11.20am the next day.

• Number plates were stolen from a grey Volkswagen Golf n Bury Chase, Felsted, between 11pm on June 21 and 6.50am the next day.

• Eggs and approximately £100 cash was stolen from an egg box in Braintree Road, Felsted, between 2-3.20pm on June 21.
• A grey Volvo V50 had its windscreen smashed, rear windscreen wiper removed and lights smashed in the road between 0.01am on June 28 and 11.22pm on July 5.

• A Ford Transit van was stolen from Honey Road, Little Canfield, between 8.30pm on July 3 and 6am the next day.

• Work tools worth £400 were stolen from a silver Ford Transit parked in Manor Road, Little Easton, between 10.35pm on July 1 and 4.30pm the next day.

• No items were stolen during a break-in to a property in Stoney Common, Stansted, between 8.15pm on July 10 and 6.30pm the next day. Tools were stolen from a white Ford Transit van in the road between 1.45am on July 4 and 8.30am on July 7.

• Tools were stolen from a white Transit van parked in Rochelle Close, Thaxted, between 8pm on July 12 and 10.33am the next day.

• A stone was thrown off a bridge over the M11 between junctions eight and nine, near to Stansted, at 3.25pm on July 3. The stone cracked the windscreen of a red Citroen DS4.

• Rocks were thrown at a blue Vauxhall Corsa as it drove along Braintree Road, Felsted, on the morning of June 22, causing the windscreen to smash.

• A home in Manor Road, Stansted, was broken into between 1-4.19pm on July 4 by smashing the glass window in the front door. Various items were stolen.

• Someone tried to break into a vehicle parked in Felstead Crescent, Stansted, between 10pm on July 1 and 1.30pm on July 6. A second vehicle, a Ford Transit, was also subject to an attempted break-in in the street between midnight and 10pm on July 1.

• Forest Hall School, in Forest Hall Road, Stansted, suffered some damage to the roof after people climbed onto the roof between midnight on June 22 and 11am on June 28.

• Burglars attempted twice to break into a property in Alsa Street, Stansted, around 8.30pm on June 18.

• A white Honda CBR600F was stolen from Rochford Close, Stansted, between 8pm on June 16 and 6.42pm on June 18.

• A burglar stole items from a Ford Transit in Bull Ring, Thaxted, after drilling the lock between 7pm on June 19 and 11.34am the following day.

• Nothing was stolen when a black Ford Transit was broken into on Stoneyfield Drive, Stansted, between 8pm on June 19 and 2.15pm on June 21.

• A would-be intruder trying to get in was disturbed by a woman at her home in West Road, Stansted, around 10am on June 23. The man fled the scene.

• A would-be burglar damaged a shutter at a property in The Heath, Hatfield Heath, between 5pm on June 14 and 11.55am the next day.

• Burglars left after activating an alarm at a property in Barley Close, Hatfield Heath, between 7-11.15pm on June 16.

• Suspects placed their own lock after cutting a link out of a locked chain to remove the existing lock in Gore Road, Rayne, at around 7.40pm on June 18.
