PUPILS from six schools, together with district and youth councillors attended a meeting of school councils at Takeley Primary School on Friday.
A total of 38 council members representing Dunmow St Mary's, Great Dunmow, Henham and Ugley, Thaxted, and Takeley Primary schools and Helena Romanes School attended the first meeting of its kind to be held at the Roseacres school to talk about how their school councils operated and the issues they were dealing with.
Assistant head teacher Claire Berry said: "I was very pleased so many councils were able to attend to share ideas and discuss what they were doing to make their schools better.
