The total raised on Red Nose Day was a staggering £730.87. Apart from the 50p donations, which the children brought in for the privilege of dressing in red for the day, there were lots of fund-raising activities to swell the total amount. It's hoped the sun will shine on Saturday for the school's next big event - the May Revels. The theme for this year is cartoon characters. There will be the usual fancy dress and also wacky races, for which it is hoped families will devise some really unusual vehicles (propelled by the feet) to race against each other. There will also be the usual attractions such as a bouncy castle, tombolas, raffle, crockery smash, plant stall, lucky dip, beat the goalie, cake stall, beer tent and refreshments - every class will also be holding their own fund-raising stall.
