Firefighters cut a man from a vehicle after a three-vehicle crash in Essex last night (Wednesday).

It happened around 7.23pm in The Endway, Great Easton.

One vehicle had left the road and ended up in a ditch.

Crews used specialist cutting equipment to free one man and left him in the care of the ambulance service by 8.39pm.

Firefighters from Great Dunmow and Thaxted were sent to the scene, along with an air ambulance.
