Man cut free after one-vehicle smash in Essex village

A MAN had to be cut free from his vehicle following a crash in Hatfield Broad Oak last night (February 3).

Fire crews from Leaden Roding and Old Harlow were called to the one-vehicle smash on the B183 at 10.10pm. Firefighters, using specialist cutting equipment, had cut the man free by 10.38pm. He was left in the care of paramedics.
