A man has been charged in connection with an incident in Dunmow on Tuesday (September 1) where police shot a man reported to be carrying two firearms in the street.
Stephen Debley, aged 48, of Knights Way, Dunmow, has been charged with two counts of possession of an imitation firearm with intent, affray and making threats to kill.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Colchester Magistrates Court this morning.
