A mother cat and her two kittens were found abandoned on the doorstep of a Dunmow vets practice on Tuesday morning (Aug 2).
When receptionist Nicky FitzJohn arrived at work at Taylors Piece in Stortford Road at 8.20am, the hungry mum and her youngsters were already there, left in a wicker basket.
It’s thought the kittens are about six weeks old. The cats are tortoiseshell. The mother has striped fur with a white bib and the kittens are tabby.
Nicky said: “They have not been micro-chipped so they have obviously been abandoned. But they are in good condition they seem to have been well looked after. We would just like to draw attention to the fact that they are here in the hope of re-homing them.”
