WHAT are the things that make you feel insecure - lack of trust, no companionship or a need for control?

All these things are placed upon the character of Suzy in autumn play Strictly Murder.

Returning to Chelmsford Civic Theatre after its original performance in 2006, the play stars Ben Roberts - who starred as chief inspector Conway for 14 years in ITV show The Bill - and Kim Tiddy, who played Honey Harman in the same ITV soap.

Set in April 1939, and written by acclaimed playwright Brian Clemens, it tells the story of an English couple, Peter and Suzy, who are living in Provence in idyllic isolation away from the rumblings of the coming World War Two.

Their peace is shattered from within when Suzy discovers she has been betrayed because Peter is not the man he claims to be.

Her life is thrown into turmoil as the possibility arises that Peter may in fact be a ruthless killer on the run.

Then, when a Scotland Yard detective arrives on the scene, events become even more complicated, sinister and frightening.

Tickets cost 16.50 and 14.50 (full price) and 15 and 13 (concessions and groups).

The Saturday matinee at 2.30pm has a special ticket price of 13 for all seats.
