TWO days of thrilling Polocrosse action will be held in Great Canfield next month.

An international Polocrosse test match between South Africa and the UK is taking place at Ashfield Polocrosse Club on July 18 and 19.

International Polocrosse test matches are one of the most exciting ways to watch the sport being played. Teams draw on tactics, skill and all their horsemanship abilities (they ride the same horse for the whole tournament) to help them win.

The two teams recently clashed in Australia during the Quadrangular Tour where South Africa beat the UK by just one goal.

So it promises to be an adrenaline fuelled Test Match.

The test matches will take place on both days from 2pm. There will be stalls, games, demonstrations, carriage driving, domestic polocrosse matches and entertainment to enjoy before the games. Gates open at 10am.

Entry to this family day out is 15 per car and you can join Ashfields and the international players for the Saturday Night Players Party, tickets only 20.

Tickets for the VIP area are 70 and guests are invited to enjoy the private VIP areas dedicated to offering the best viewpoints, VIP lounge, dining area, three course a la carte menu, jazz band, private bar, private washroom and reserved parking.

Ashfields Polocrosse Club has chosen the breast cancer campaign as their official charity for the event. They will be collecting and holding various activities across the two days, including a charity auction, to raise funds in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign.
