AN AFTERNOON tea party was held at the home of Dunmow Inner Wheel's president, Olga Burrell, in aid of Cancer Research.All members arrived for the occasion wearing an item of pink clothing. Despite inclement weather, members and their husbands were able to enjoy tea with a pink theme comprising delicious pastries with prawns, salmon sandwiches, scones and pink biscuits. A raffle was also held with prizes of pink champagne and pink plants.
In closing the party, Olga thanked everyone for supporting one of her charities for her presidential year.
