A charity lunch organised by the Inner Wheel Club of Dunmow was enjoyed by over 70 people at The Rowena Davey Centre last Saturday, 17th March. President Brenda Smith welcomed everyone which included members of her chosen charities for the year, the Dunmow Disabled Club, who were represented by Susan Barker and Pauline Griffin, and ResCu, represented by Jill Elms and Debbie Stevens. A special welcome was also given to Doug and Eunice Whitton who were celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary that day. A delicious lunch of salmon and salad was served followed by a wonderful selection of the now famous desserts created by the members of Inner Wheel. A very successful Bring and Buy stall and raffle attracted wide interest. Brenda Smith thanked everyone who supported the lunch, also to the members of Inner Wheel for their usual hard work and high standard of cuisine.
