THE 25th anniversary production of the television classic Allo! Allo! is coming to Chelmsford from Monday 20 to Saturday 25 April.

Meet Ren�, the most wanted man in occupied France - women want his body, the resistance wants his brain and the Nazis want his sausage.

A star-studded cast of 18 is led by Vicki Michelle, who starred as Yvette in the original hit TV series screened on BBC1 between 1982 and 1992, and Jeffrey Holland from cult series Hi-De-Hi.

This stunning new stage production follows the hilarious adventures of Ren�, the hapless caf� owner in war-torn occupied France, as he and his wife Edith struggle to keep for themselves a priceless portrait stolen by the Nazis and hidden in a sausage in their cellar.

The show runs at Chelmsford's Civic Theatre for a total of six days and tickets are selling fast.

Tickets for Monday to Thursday and matinees are priced at �18 and �16, concessions are �16 and �14.
