I'm Sorry Ellie sign has provoked a storm on Twitter


A mysterious banner apologising to “Ellie” has been put up on bridge above the A120 at Dunmow.

The sign, above the westbound carriageway, says: “Forgive me Ellie” and appeared today (Friday).

Now people are using social media to find out who Ellie is and why someone is saying sorry to her.
