How Braintree district voted in EU referendum

Residents in the Braintree district have voted in favour to leave the European Union.
In the referendum yesterday (Thursday), voters were 61.1 per cent in favour of leave and 38.9 per cent voted to remain.
The number of votes cast for remain were 33,523 and the number for leave were 52,713.
The turnout was 76.68 per cent.
Votes go towards the national total and the result is due later this morning (Friday).
