Hospice receives school’s cheque

REGULAR fund-raising has enabled the boys in Gepp s House at Felsted School to donate £1888 to the Braintree Farleigh Hospice. The money was raised from a variety of events over the past year including a surplus of funds from an art auction with discos,

REGULAR fund-raising has enabled the boys in Gepp's House at Felsted School to donate £1888 to the Braintree Farleigh Hospice.

The money was raised from a variety of events over the past year including a surplus of funds from an art auction with discos, raffles and the Youth Enterprise Scheme.

Christina Evans, community fund-raiser at Farleigh Hospice visited Felsted School to receive the cheque.

Christina commented "I am overjoyed with the money raised by Felsted School as it makes so much difference to the charity.

"The funds will go towards providing free patient care."

Carolyn Phillips who is a tutor within Gepps said "It is a pleasure to be involved with Farleigh as the work they do is an inspiration to us all".
