Hannah Poulton, from Great Dunmow, had to create an eco-friendly gown for the semi-finals of the prestigious competition, as well as take part in a boot camp and an interview with the judges.
The 17-year-old also managed to raise £510 for Beauty with a Purpose, a charity which raises money for humanitarian projects.
Despite not making it to the final, the trainee beautician enjoyed the competition.
She said: “It was a really good experience and I met lots of new friends.
“I definitely want to keep entering and hopefully make it to the final.”
