More than 250 people enjoyed Hallowe’en-filled fun for all the family at the Forgotten Gardens of Easton Lodge open day on Sunday, October 16.

Children took part in arts and crafts activities, like making butterfly clips, as well as building their own bird feeders throughout the day.

Many youngsters also turned up in spooky fancy dress to tackle the specially designed Halloween trail around the gardens.

Claire Matthews, trustee, said: “It was a superb day and one of the most successful for children we’ve ever had. The weather forecast wasn’t very favourable but it brightened up nicely and it was great to see so many children turn up in costume for the Halloween trail.”
