Organisers of Great Easton’s Cookie Fest are celebrating after another successful turnout.
The festival, which was held at Easton Hall earlier this month, saw hundreds descend on the site for a day of music, dancing and plenty of food – all in aid of Cancer Research UK.
This year saw headliners Cover Story – a four-piece band from Braintree playing rock covers.
The group delighted crowds on the day, which also saw a variety of stalls and food from a hog roast and tasty barbecue.
Tim Birch, organiser, said: “Cover Story headlined this year’s festival and we absolutely loved it.
“It was the best setting, great weather, plenty of beer, a great stage set up and the best, liveliest crowd. All the bands that played were amazing, as was Terry Crouch who was doing the live sound.
“We hope to be back for next year’s festival.”
