Cambridgeshire Girl Guiding has adopted Sight as its fund-raising project this year. The girls will be actively supporting Forgotten Children International, Vision Aid Overseas and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Vision Aid collects spectacles for needy people overseas. Glasses can be taken to the Tuesday meetings or delivered to Rosemary Turner, 1 Joiners Road (01223 891925). Also the Guides are collecting used postage stamps, old jewellery, watches broken or not, and old British coins. These are to help raise money for guide dogs.
