Bishop’s Stortford College smashed a record today (August 25) when 86 per cent of students taking GCSE English achieved an A or A* and every single student got at least a B in this GCSE.
100 per cent of music and drama students got at least an A.
Across all subjects, 68 per cent of grades were an A*-A and more than a third were A*, alongside 100 per cent of all pupils getting at least five or more passes A*-C.
Top achievers included Katie Champion, Henry Hunt, Katie Kerr, Simrhan Khetani and Ailsa Munro, as well as twins Joe and Lucy Minichello, who got 17 A*s between them.
Headteacher Jeremy Gladwin said: “My congratulations to all our pupils on exceeding their expectations by working so very hard and responding so well to the excellent teaching of our dedicated team of professionals.
“I am so proud of your achievements.”
