Brainboxes at The Farmhouse Inn in Monk Street raised £260 for a children's hospice at an Easter Quiz and raffle on Sunday. Neil Moore, landlord, said: "We have held several fund-raising events in aid of Little Havens children's hospice since its lottery grant was withdrawn last year." The next one is a St George's Day black tie dinner with special guest, boxer Billy Walker and an after dinner speech by cruise-liner entertainer, Bob Curtiss.
