A NEW primary school's first-ever fun day was a great success.
Flitch Green Primary School, which officially opened in June, held the momentous event on Saturday.
Jenny Collom, PR for the Friends of Flitch, said: "Everyone pulled together to put on a fantastic first fun day for our lovely school. It was great seeing lots of people come along to enjoy all the attractions and to also help support the school.
"We would like to thank all the local businesses that kindly donated prizes for our grand raffle, especially Persimmon Homes."
The Friends are still waiting to find out the final total, but proceeds will go towards buying new equipment for the school.
