The Friends are asking fun-loving quiz-goers to make a 'note' of the date of their forthcoming music quiz. Organiser Claire Reeve said: "The annual event has proven to be very popular in the last few years and there has even been a waiting list for tables over the past two years. "This is not a serious evening. The emphasis is on having fun, whilst helping a good cause," she added. The Friends of Great Dunmow Clinic is a charity that aims to provide, or assist in the provision of equipment, facilities and services not normally financed by the statutory authority. The event takes place on Saturday February 3, at Foakes Hall, Great Dunmow. Tickets are £7 per person and this includes a ploughman's supper. Organisers say people should bring their own drinks and request that only plastic glasses are used. Quizzers should arrive at 7pm for a 7.15 start. To book a table call Ms Reeve on 01371 873768.
