Flitch House in Dunmow serves up school kit sponsorship

Helena Romanes School’s Futsal Team look stylish on and off the pitch, now thanks to new kit sponsored by the Flitch House restaurant in Great Dunmow.

Futsal, a version of five-a-side football, has really kicked off at the school with teams entered into campaigns including The Essex FA Futsal tournament and The FA People’s Cup. There are plans to take the team on tour to Camber Sands in the May half term.

Teacher, Chris Allom said: “The team has proved to be a real success, achieving a number of notable results. Despite most of the players being only 14, two of the school’s teams finished second in the recent under-16s FA People’s Cup, playing against players two years older.

“We are really grateful to Andy Coleman from The Flitch House for sponsoring our kit. The players are over the moon with the way it looks and it has really worked as an incentive to train hard.”
