Firefighters were called to tackle a fire in a pile of rubbish in Great Dunmow.
The blaze, which took place yesterday (Sunday) shortly before 8.30pm, measured two metres by five metres.
One crew used two hose reel jets to extinguished the fire by 9.20pm. The cause has been recorded as deliberate.
