Firefighters cut a woman free from her vehicle last night (January 26) after she crashed into the central reservation on the A120 near Dunmow.

The woman, in her 40s, was travelling on the eastbound carriageway between the Dunmow junction and Panners Farm junction just before 6pm when the incident occured.

Three fire crews attended and used cutting equipment to release the woman, who was freed by 6.40pm.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew and a rapid response vehicle, and the woman was taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford for treatment for minor injuries.
