FIRE-FIGHTERS successfully extinguished a fire inside a Thaxted farm building last night (Thursday).
Crews from Thaxted, Dunmow and Saffron Walden used special breathing equipment and one hose to tackle the fire, which tool approximately 30 minutes to put out.
When they arrived at the scene, at approximately 8.22pm, the 8m X 5m building was well alight and completely smoke logged.
The farm building was used as a workshop.
An investigation to establish the cause of the fire is now underway.
