A Steeple Bumpstead woman held a special party on August 1 to mark 25 years together with her horse.
Delia Scott, 64, celebrated the 25-year anniversary among friends at Finchingfield where her horse, Jethro, is in stables.
Mrs Scott and Jethro had a 15-year partnership at local shows and were never unplaced in cob classes.
Mrs Scott said: “Jethro is a dear boy, and we have had such fun together. He is very well in himself, and can still be a cheeky boy when he wants to be.”
