STAFF members at the Felsted School psychology department said they are delighted after receiving a national award for best A-level results achieved by boys at an independent school.
The prestigious award, from the highly regarded Good Schools Guide, recognises excellent teaching in individual subjects and it is the second time in three years that the school has come first.
Melissa Cacace, Head of Psychology at Felsted, said: "I am absolutely thrilled to have achieved this award again. Psychology is a very popular A-level choice at Felsted School and I am extremely proud of our students, who are motivated, hard-working and conscientious."
The annual awards are based on the A-level results themselves, the subject's popularity compared to other schools, and the success of pupils in relation to their overall results.
