GREEN-FINGERED school pupils are ‘growing their own’ as part of a fun educational initiative.
Children at Felsted primary are harvesting vegetables from a specially built garden during school lunchtimes and are gaining experience as a result says headteacher Lawrence Garside.
“The children work in teams,” he added. “The gardening club produces vegetables and the children gain valuable experience from harvesting their own crops.”
