‘Felsted in Stitches’ unveiled to the public

A PROJECT that has taken over two years to complete has been unveiled to the public.

Felsted in Stitches was designed by Ilene Thawley and put together by over 80 people.

The embroidery was unveiled at the Memorial Hall with the chairman of the Essex Federation of WIs, June Ward, in attendance.

The project was the idea of past president of Felsted WI Ann Welsh after visiting the Quaker tapestry in Kendal, Cumbria.
