THAXTED'S Baptist church hall has benefited from a £75,000 extension including disabled access and a fully equipped kitchen.
Rev Ian Reed thanked the Essex Environmental Trust and the Stansted Community Trust, amongst others, for very generous grants to help the two year project along. Seventy-five church goers were at the opening ceremony on Friday.
