BARNSTON Women's Institute celebrated its 90th anniversary last week with a small celebration at the village hall.
A display of crafts, memorabilia and jams took place, followed by afternoon tea, sandwiches and birthday cake.
The village hall was decorated in green and white with balloons, streamers, orange roses and tables covered with lace and flowers to mark the occasion.
The branch has had only 13 presidents during its 90 years, one of whom served twice.
