A TEAM of women have managed to raise over £1500 for Cancer Research by taking part in the Chelmsford Race for Life at Hylands Park.

Six ladies from Taylors Service Centre in Great Dunmow were inspired to take part after popular customer Trevor Clark died from the disease some years ago, and recently several members of the team have had family members or friends also affected.

On Sunday they dropped in to take part in the 5k run. Team member Jayne Taylor said: “We had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was amazing with lots of support, it was a wonderful uplifting event to be part of.

“We would like to thank colleagues, customers, family and friends for all their support, we have managed to raise to date £1500 but money is still coming in and we have been very grateful to even those that have called into work just to support us.”

If anyone would wish to make a donation they still can by going to www.raceforlifesponsorme/jaynetaylor11

Or call into the service centre on the Chelmsford Road industrial estate.
