ESSEX: Police hunt for man in connection with armed robbery at bowls club
DETECTIVES are appealing for information following an armed robbery at Elsenham Bowls Club last night.

About 9.45pm on Thursday (April 29) a man wearing a balaclava and holding a small handgun entered the premises, in Leigh Drive, and demanded money from the till from a voluntary member of bar staff.
The woman, in her 60s, handed over a small sum of money, approx �100, and the man left.
He is described as in his 30s, stocky build, about 5 ft 8 ins tall and was wearing a black anorak, grey trousers and fingerless gloves.

There were no customers in the bowls club at the time and no one was injured.
Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area and may have seen this man hanging around earlier or knows where he went after the incident.
