A WETHERSFIELD day nursery is jumping for joy after its manager gained high level status.
Lauren Isherwood already has a degree in childcare. Now the manager of Jay's Childcare - which is based at the Freshford Centre in Silver Street - gained her Early Years Professional Status after showing expertise in all aspects of welfare, learning and development across the 0-5 year age group.
Owner Janet Jenkins said: "Jay's has always employed staff who are highly qualified in their work and Lauren's success continues this ethos.
"We congratulate her on this achievement.
