BUSINESSES have today (Friday) been encouraged to take part in an Essex County Council led apprentice scheme - following the enrolling of new workers.

In total 120 engineering and manufacturing apprentices gathered at county hall in Chelmsford to enrol for the Essex Apprentice Programme.
