DRESSING-up hats and clothes were brought along to Dunmow library by St Clare Hospice, while the charity also provided children with goody bags, balloons and colouring books.
The library invited St Clare’s Sarah Calder, Uttlesford community fundraiser, to join youngsters for their Baby and Toddler Storytime event.
She was there to increase awareness of St Clare Hospice and encourage volunteering and fundraising in the Dunmow area.
The charity’s ‘Follow the Bear’ sponsored walk for pre-schoolers is taking place in the Jubilee Gardens in Saffron Walden on June 11 – where children will follow our mascot Clare the Bear around the gardens.
