Dunmow Rotary Club welcomed their Norwegian counterparts last weekend for a three-day-long visit.

Exploring the Essex town and surrounding areas, The Kragero Rotary and their Dunmow tour guides could be spotted punting in Cambridge on the River Cam, lunching at the Flitch Club and barbequing with fellow Rotarians John and Jenny Versey.

As well as learning about British culture though, the guests made sure to share their own traditions with the hosts, performing a traditional song during the gala dinner last Saturday.

In fact, the four-course meal was the highlight of the trip for the two clubs. Their long-lasting friendship was marked with the exchanging of gifts and the signing of the Certificate of Recognition by Kragero Club’s Raymond Cheetham and Dunmow’s Michael Perry.
