An afternoon of tea and cake will prove the perfect fundraising tool, and an ideal way for communities across Essex to get together and support a nationwide charity drive, next month.

The Marie Curie Blooming Great Tea Party will take place between Saturday, June 20, and Monday, June 29 to raise money for the charity that provides care to people living with a terminal illness.

And funds raised will help more Marie Curie nurses care for people in their own homes in Essex.

Last year across the UK the Blooming Great Tea Party for Marie Curie raised £667,000, which pays for 33,350 hours of nursing care.
