Dunmow Town Team Chairman steps down

After three years of hard work the chairman of the Great Dunmow Town Team is stepping down.
Residents 4 Uttlesford town councillor for Great Dunmow, Alex Armstrong, is stepping down from his additional post as Chairman of the Town Team.
Cllr Armstrong will be standing for election as an Essex County Councillor in May.
He said: “It has been very fulfilling, but come May, 4, we will be in the position of knowing where I will be personally.”
During his time on the Town Team the committee produced a dedicated website, a parking discount scheme and a shop local loyalty scheme.
He added: “It’s been a very positive experience.”
Cllr Armstrong will be staying on as a member of the town council but has decided to step down from the town team to dedicate himself to his Essex County Council campaign.
