The Arts Centre (Dunmow) has a new spotlight after a donation of £500 from Flitch Travel, which has just celebrated 18 years of business in the town.

Jacky Rom from the Arts Centre said: “We are so grateful for this donation. The light will make a huge difference to the quality of the shows.

“We will be using the light for the first time at the weekend for performances of We Will Rock You being performed by the Arts Theatre Company.

Neil Henderson owner of Flitch Travel said: “We are the only travel agent in the town owned and run in Dunmow and we want to support our local community. It’s wonderful what they do with the kids. If we can help other organisations or charities we will if we can.”

Over the next four weeks, the shows at Dunmow Arts Centre also include Oliver! Paradise Falls and Musicals Through the Ages.
