The new show jumping team at Helena Romanes School in Great Dunmow distinguished themselves again during the Easter holidays.

On Thursday, April 8, they took part in a competition at Codham Park, Beazley End, and came first in one event and second in another.

The newly formed team of Izac, Rosie, Claudia and Sophie were placed second in the 80 cm round beating 15 other schools.

Three of the team then went in to the 90-95 class. Both triumphs qualify them for the final at Addington in October.

As reported by the Broadcast, the team’s first ever event was last month when they entered the National Schools Equestrian Association competition at the Wix Equestrian Centre in Manningtree, when they came back with rosettes.
